The Architectural Atelier Brenac + Gonzalez was established in 1981 and now employs thirty people. Parallel to the achievements and competitions, the workshop focuses on developing a permanent research that focuses on the development of housing typologies and the protection of the environment. This site presents more than twenty years of architectural practice where programs, highly differentiated, more or less complex succession. It is also an opportunity to make a freeze frame of what is behind us but before us and allow us, beyond time, to link the projects. What first struck us, looking back the whole production is particularly gradual emancipation, according to the project, any dogma in favor of a pragmatic attitude. The positions were released, they are neither arrested nor definitive. Our architectural style and was free of any affiliation and any prohibited. Without rules, the logic of continuity or rupture loses, of course, any interest, there is no transgression, but mix and match. Our projects are manufactured from the process whose parameters related contexts - sites, customers, program funding, willingness to experiment or simple mood - are important factors of our aesthetic choices.
